AmsterdamGuru is an independent organisation founded in 2007 to provide some good, honest, up-to-date information about Amsterdam, promoting what this great city has to offer.

We have tried to compile as much up-to-date information as possible to offer a realistic and comprehensive guide to Amsterdam and its many attractions.

Whatever your reason for visiting Amsterdam - be it the nightlife, the food, the museums, the theatres, or just to sample the atmosphere - our aim is to help you find what you are looking for and make the most of your time whilst here to enhance your experience and memories of our beautiful city.

 
Whilst we cannot cover everything in Amsterdam, we have tried to include as many highlights and tips as possible.

All of our reviews are based on personal experiences of ourselves, friends and families and are intended as a realistic guide to Amsterdam.

Visitors to Amsterdam often complain of the difficulty getting reliable information about what is on in the capital during their stay, and this site has been launched as an alternative to other sources of information about Amsterdam which are often limited, too commercially biased or sometimes just hopelessly out-of-date.
