Emergency Support In Amsterdam

While we hope your stay in Amsterdam is a safe and enjoyable, in case you experience problems below is a list of useful telephone numbers.

Public telephone boxes all allow free calls to emergency services, and reverse charge calls should you find yourself short of cash.

Amsterdam Emergency Services - 112

112 – is the all-purpose emergency number which can be used to contact Police, Ambulance or Fire Fighting Service.

Emergency services should be able to track where you are – although be ready with your name, location and a description of your problem.

Services in most cases are available in both English and Dutch.
